Just upgraded to a new vacuum cleaner robot with a mopping function – DreameBot L10 Ultra.
Then of course you have to enter it into the Home Assistant so that you can use it a little smarter.
Fortunately, this was a very easy job, as a very good plugin has been created for this. This is easily installed via HACS, and you add a new device/integration afterward.

What is worth mentioning is that, at present, the integration only supports vacuum cleaners installed via Mi Home app on your phone. However, if you install the beta version of the integration, this also supports the new Dreamehome app (which is the recommended app when setting up new DreamBot robot vacuum cleaners).
Once you have added the vacuum cleaner to HomeAssistant, you get a sea of functions to choose from. Here you can virtually control everything with the vacuum cleaner. If you have a different model than the one we have, there will be some other functions that appear – this is dynamic in relation to which DreameBot vacuum cleaner you integrate.

The integration also provides a logbook overview of all activities that the vacuum cleaner performs. Here you have full control.

With this integration, it is reasonably straightforward to create automation that cleans specific rooms (or all rooms) at specific times or when e.g. nobody is home.
So now you can come home from work to a freshly washed living room.
