Wouldn’t it be great if you could control the robotic lawnmower via Home Assistant? Think of the possibilities. One can e.g. start the mower when no one is home. Or you can stop it if it rains, and restart it again after example. 2 hours since the last rainfall. Or simply just say “Hey Google, cut my lawn”.
If you have a Worx Landroid, you can simply use a ready-made package to integrate the mower.
Remember – follow the instructions as they are in the instructions, do not take any shortcuts. There are few requirements for integration. Three points to follow that are listed below. They are all taken from the website of the package.
Requirements
- Home Assistant version 2021.4 or above
- Landroid Cloud Integration. Install using HACS or see this guide
- fold-entity-row plugin. Install using HACS or see this guide, it is possible you also need card-tools add-on installed
When this is done, you can create a manual lovelace card. From here you can control the mower manually, adjust settings and see stats for the mower. Quite simple.
What are you waiting for? Integrate your Worx Landroid into Home Assistant now.
